Open table rules on all foul shots, opposing player receiving 2 shots, carried forward, and can play any ball on the table first shot, unless potted the white ball cannot be respotted.

On all occasions if the black ball is potted from the break balls will be re-racked

If no ball has been potted when a foul is committed, players must nominate second shot even if they have potted

on the first shot. They then remain on those balls for the rest of the game. Failure to nominate is a foul.

If at any time the balls are situated so that it is impossible to play a fair shot, the game is declared void, balls re-racked and game replayed

There is no nomination of pocket for the black ball.

Games will be refereed alternately by competing teams, home team providing the first ref.

If a player knowingly commits a foul whether it is called or not they are expected to stand up and admit such.

Addressing the table is defined as physical contact with any part of it.

There is to be no coaching of players during a match, doubles players can confer before taking a shot, but once the table has been addressed they cannot confer again until that break is over.

The referee can at any stage impose a reasonable time limit on a player to take the next shot; failure to comply is a foul.

Any ball leaving the table must be replaced on or behind the black spot.
